With increasing establishment of rTMS as an evidence-based treatment option, and Medicare funding being recently approved for rTMS Treatment in Major Depressive Disorders, The Royal Australian & New Zealand College of Psychiatrists have formulated specific criteria that need to be met by practitioners trained to deliver rTMS to patients, thus ensuring a consistency of skills taught and acquired by the practitioners providing rTMS to patients.
Completion of this training course will enable Psychiatrists and Practitioners to have the requisite knowledge and skills to safely deliver rTMS to patients within the boundaries of ethical and professional practice.
